With a steadily growing reputation as a boutique shop that operates on a global scale, Nova Sports Group was recently invited as a partner in strategic initiatives set by the head sports directors at legendary clubs in Mexico and Italy. The projects included new-player identification and intercontinental marketing opportunities. Ryan Mattis traveled to CF Pachuca in June to spend ten days as a guest of the club in which he observes training sessions while two players were on trial with the club who had been recommended by Nova for consideration for contract. Later in the month, Ryan Mattis and Rob Feigenson both traveled together to New York City to spend two days as a guest of Juventus FC on their tour of North America. As part of the project, Nova hosted meetings for Juventus with select Major League Soccer directors and coaches. Nova has since worked on player transfers of European-based players to Juventus during the summer window as well as on global transfers of certain Juventus players away from the club. In particular, Nova had been mandated to broker a transfer between Juventus and a Major League Soccer club for left defender, Fabio Grosso. Grosso was a member of the 2006 World Cup Champion team from Italy. Nova Sports Group is a global sports representation agency that works throughout more than 25 countries worldwide and has developed a reputation for identifying and placing players with the “correct” club. Over the past several months, Nova actively worked on contracts and player placements in Italy, Denmark, Mexico and the United States.
