Martin Vingaard is a vintage Danish box-to-box central midfielder. High tactical sense, a strong set of lungs and high work rate provide a steady presence on both sides of the ball. Vingaard began his career as a teenager in the lower divisions of the Danish football pyramid and quickly ascended the ranks to the Danish Superliga signing with Esbjerg at 20 years of age. He was a member of the Danish U17, U19 and U20 youth national teams. Later transferring to FC Copenhagen (FCK), Vingaard truly made a name for himself as a midfield leader. At FCK he played over 140 matches for the perennial league champions where he registered 22 goals and 25 assists throughout all competitions including league and cup play as well as Champions League and Europa League fixtures. The FCK side was also four-time Superliga champion and two-time Danish Cup champion during his tenure at the club. He transferred to FC Nordsjaelland in 2013 and has played over 85 matches for the club since his transfer.

Vingaard also featured for the senior Danish National Team on nine occasions including 2010 European Championship Qualifiers. He was nominated by the Danish federation as player of the year in 2010, as well. A talented two-way midfielder, Vingaard is a lively and active centerpiece. Nova Sports Group assists Pro XI Sports Management of Denmark in managing Vingaard.
